Alberta Fire Chiefs Association is seeking speakers and presenters for the 2025 Conference. 

The AFCA is releasing a call for speakers for the 77th Annual Conference and Trade Show.
Abstract Submission Proposals are invited for keynote addresses, workshops and Partners Program. All submissions will be reviewed for quality, relevance, and merit. Structured abstracts of 250 words or less are required for each submission and are to be completed as part of the attached form.

Abstracts must be submitted via the AFCA25 Speaker Form and emailed to [email protected] as a .PDF (Acrobat document). Speaker forms are due by November 28, 2024.

Keynote addresses are one hour in length including Q & A’s with an in person audience of 200+ people. Workshop presentations are one hour and 15 minutes, including Q & A’s with an audience of 80 to 100+ per workshop, unless otherwise stated in the final conference schedule.

Speakers interested in presenting the AFCA Partners, would be granted a private audience of approximately 25 partners. Session allotment time would be tailored to your subject matter plus additional time for informal Q & A’s.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE

Presenters will be notified by December 2023, to confirm if their abstract has been accepted. Further details will
be requested from those that are accepted.
If a speaker has been selected there will be a conference call to discuss the presentation.
