Jonathan Reimer is a senior incident commander and emergency manager based in BC. He has led the response on hundreds of emergencies across the country including Canada’s largest wildfire disaster. He was Director of BC’s Provincial Emergency Coordination Centre, served on the National Incident Management Team, and is a Director of the Emergency Operations Centre at the Capital Regional District.
He is a featured speaker on the science and practice of high stakes decision-making. He holds a Master of Science degree in Environment and Management, a Certificate in Leadership Development, and founded Emergent Risk Management to create innovative science-practitioner partnerships.
