FortisAlberta is an electricity distribution utility dedicated to delivering safe and reliable electricity to the homes, farms, and businesses of more than half a million customers in central and southern Alberta. We own and operate approximately 131,000 kilometres of power lines and more than 1.1 million power poles, representing approximately 60 percent of Alberta’s electric distribution network. Our company operates in more than 240 communities and employs over 1,300 Albertans.
